You really were the best of us. Kind, brave, selfless, always thinking of others, and just a thoroughly decent guy. A twinkle in your eye, often up to mischief. You’ve made a positive impact on so many lives through your union work and recent battle with Boris! I hope the funeral showed Keren and Will how much you meant to so many. Rest easy dear John xx

One of the best people I've ever met, it was a privilege to know him and to be able to count him as a friend. So difficult to be there on Friday but also so proud of John as it showed that he clearly touched so many lives with his wonderful friendship and positivity. John will be forever with me, especially for every new Sci-Fi experience and LFC triumph.

Sending best wishes and deepest condolences to Keren and William, family and friends. I worked with John at ATL and NEU. He was a fantastic and inspirational colleague, always fearless and devoted to the members he represented and supported. He will be so missed. RIP, friend. x
